• Responsible for the development of required documentation to support new product launches.

• Serve as the “Gatekeeper” to ensure all steps are completed and documented in the appropriate order.

• Support the DFMEA and PFMEA and insure effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Investigate opportunities for improvement and reduction of costs (e.g. troubleshooting and root cause analysis).

• Conduct and document training to site personnel as required to support new product introductions.

• Interface closely with Engineering to ensure flawless Product Launches.

• Review new product introduction process for completeness and adequacy to AIAG, Electricfil & Customer standards.

• Evaluate techniques and instructions in site documentation, and implements changes as needed.

• Work to improve IMTE hardware and software; as well as fixtures used at site to support new introductions

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, PLUS two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position.

• Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of:

  • PFMEA; MSA; APQP; PPAP; SPC; ISO 9001:2015 + IATF 16949:2016

  • 8D; Ishikawa; Pareto; 5Why; is / is not

  • Quality Management System; Product & Process Auditor

  • Corrective & Preventive Actions; Quality Management Review

  • Part Approval Document Submission; Develop Supplier Quality Management Systems

  • Process Capability Studies; Process & Procedure Document Creation

  • Customer Specific Requirements Gap Analysis

  • Management of Customer Portal
