Our commitments for the planet

In the face of the climate emergency, everyone has a role to play—individually and collectively—in shaping a more sustainable future. National regulations are tightening, while global initiatives like the Paris Agreement set ambitious targets to drive governments and organizations toward a clean energy and ecological transition. The goal is clear: to limit global warming so that the 2°C scenario—ideally 1.5°C—can be achieved by following decarbonization pathways aligned with this target. This means not only cutting direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions, but also embracing responsible practices in resource management, mobility, and production.

In this context, where companies play a central role, EFI Automotive is committed to making its contribution. Our approach follows the guidelines recommended by ADEME, the French Environment and Energy Management Agency: measure (know where you stand), raise awareness, and reduce—using measurement to prioritize actions based on their real impact.

MEASURE

Carbon Footprint

The first carbon footprint assessment covering scopes 1 and 2 was carried out around ten years ago for the Group’s operations in France. Since then, this work has been extended to all of our sites. In 2022, to take into account the full life cycle of our products—from raw material sourcing to end-of-life—we conducted a new carbon footprint assessment for all Group sites, covering all three scopes. An update of our carbon footprint is scheduled for 2026, based on 2025 results.
