Actuators
EFI designs and produces custom mechatronic solutions for harsh environments (engine, transmission, etc.) based on the needs expressed by its customers.
Our actuators integrate:
- Absolute position measurement functions Hall Effect or Eddy Current for better immunity to external magnetic fields;
- DC motors with brushes or BLDC depending on the constraints of the application;
- a transmission system whose concept is selected according to the needs of the application and optimized accordingly;
- a control electronics integrating the system control law as well as a LIN, PWM or CAN communication interface.
The constant concern of the teams during the development of “Custom” solutions is to optimize the performance, overall efficiency of the solution and therefore the power consumption, mass and costs.
These solutions are tested with means to reproduce the conditions of the application (temperature, load, disturbances). Production means with automation adapted to the Project make it possible to guarantee the level of Quality expected by Automotive Customers.
